Recipe To Success
I know most of you are
interested in the immediate results that HHO Technology devices will produce but
once you get a feeling of the possibilities you will want to achieve the most
you can from it.
The following is
How2SaveFuel.com‘s
recipe for success:
-
Fix it first – You can’t
expect great results if your vehicle starts out in poor shape
-
Accurate road tests –
Pick a routine route that conditions can be duplicated
-
Log your results – Paper
log your miles per gallon to compare against later results

FIX THE VEHICLE
The first thing you
have to do before you even start talking about improving gas economy is make
sure your vehicle is operating properly.
There's a maintenance philosophy that says: “If it ain't broken, don't fix it!”,
while another philosophy says that preventive maintenance is what you do to save
in the long run.
We are not going to argue that question here, which of these philosophies is
right and which is wrong. Maybe both are right. Different people operate
differently, each confronting a variety of budget problems and other
considerations. So I'm not telling you what to do regarding your maintenance
decisions.
If you say “It ain't broke, I don't fix” fine with us! But hey, if IT IS broken
– fix it. Before, after, whatever. Just fix it!
Now an HHO Technology
system can still work in a broken car. It will cool down an overheating engine
for instance and it will reduce emissions.
Yet it would be unfair and technically incorrect to demand miracles. And the
main “miracle” you want your system to perform is GAS SAVINGS. We know because
we are just like you. Yet it has been demonstrated that it really takes a
miracle for gas savings to occur, in a car that is out of tune, has bad valves
or rings, worn bearings or is generally dilapidated.
So if you want to enjoy the full benefits and the awesome power of HHO, start
with a clean baseline. Have your car fixed, checked and tuned to factory
specifications by a trustworthy mechanic. It is recommended to have a good
tune-up done at least once a year.
It would even be better to do a tune-up (and any repairs indicated by the
mechanic) and then run a basic SMOG CHECK before installing the HHO Technology.
Hopefully this will coincide with your bi-annual required certification. This
establishes a “before” picture, or in technical words a “baseline”. If you then
see a great deal of change and you want to know what the numbers say, run
another smog test three weeks AFTER installing HHO Technology. Compare
the results and we think you will have something to brag about. More importantly
you would then have proof when submitting your tax returns for the tax credits.
Remember to ask your mechanic about any non-obvious factors that may be reducing
your fuel economy.
It's may not be just the engine! For instance a badly adjusted braking system
might cause a constant drag on the engine reducing both your safety and fuel
savings.
Similarly, the Alliance to Save Energy of Washington DC (phone
202-857-0666)
says that replacing a faulty oxygen sensor can improve mileage by up to 40%.
Another non-obvious factor is wheel alignment.
The problem may be with the wheel rims, or only the tires. Misalignment will
cause drag and vibrations and rapid tire wear. A tire center professional will
be able to (1) align the wheels, and (2) balance each wheel and tire
individually. Doing these repairs will pay for themselves in gas savings, tire
replacements and provide a more pleasant ride.
Yet another common malfunction is a clogged or broken exhaust system. Have your
mechanic check the exhaust system and the catalytic converter, since those
sometimes have parts collapse inside, blocking free passage of air. This is a
job for the professionals, since in most cases you can't see the damage. I
recommend checking references, like the Better Business Bureau for the reliable
repair people to deal with. Otherwise they might try to replace otherwise
serviceable exhaust pipes or converters, causing you unnecessary expense. Of
course that's specifically not the idea here, the bottom line here is to save
you money.
Lastly, make sure your gas tank cap is not damaged, loose or missing. 17% of all
gas caps are damaged or missing, causing a yearly loss of 147 million gallons of
gasoline! Gas spillage can also be caused by overfilling (especially on cars
with caps behind the license plate). So remember to stop refilling when you hear
the first click at the gas pump.
SYSTEM
MAINTENANCE
SEVERE
WARNING
Before attempting ANY maintenance on
this system, turn the engine OFF and let it cool first. Then make sure that the
device(s) are DISCONNECTED from the 12 Volt electrical
supply, by turning the ignition key fully off
AND pulling out the in-line fuse. Do this even when “only” filling up
with distilled water – otherwise the electrodes
might short circuit to the car’s body or another system, possibly causing damage
or fire hazard. For God’s sake, please do not
try to ignite the gas coming out of the supply lines. Someone told me that
they wanted to see if it was working. Yes it will ignite, faster than you can
get away and with 3 times more combustion than gasoline.
PERIODIC
MAINTENANCE
Check the jar
once a week or so, to get a feel for how quickly the distilled water is being
used up. Depending on the amount and type of driving and the engine, the
distilled water may last for two months or more. A one electrolyzer system
usually will last from 800 to 1000 miles before needing refilling. We recommend
you keep the water level to about one inch below the lid (completely full is
about a half inch below the rim or glass exposed) to half full. Keep in mind
the part of the wires submerged in the water is what is making the hydrogen,
therefore, more is better. A full or near full electrolyzer will be producing
the most HHO and giving you the most benefit. There is no set time when you need
to fill the electrolyzer. It is up to you to do the maintenance as often as you
like. We also recommend after using your first two
tanks of fuel, clean and recharge the electrolyzer. When metals are
manufactured they go through a process that can leave some residue. After the
electrolyzer has run for a while it will clean itself. This is why we suggest
recharging the electrolyzer at this time. When recharging the electrolyzer we
start with ½ to 1 teaspoon of pure baking soda
and add the distilled water. You can add more baking soda, in small increments,
and this may increase HHO production, but be careful not to overheat the
electrolyzer with to much baking soda. Visually inspect the system for leaks,
cracks, loose wires or anything unusual when you recharge the system. Our
system should provide many many years of reliable service.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibility is to
experiment with this technology, including choosing the right vehicle for the
job, installing and maintaining the system of your choice in that vehicle, as
well as tweaking it to its maximum performance. You may ask for guidance of
course. But it's your responsibility. And it's your responsibility to have it
installed, maintained and to conduct experiments in a safe and legal manner.
Another responsibility you
have, in our humble opinions, is to contribute to the public's trust and belief
in this technology. If it didn't work for you, please investigate why this has
happened. Even if you decide to quit, we expect you to respect others who are
still trying and those poor countries who desperately need energy solutions
however partial, by NOT defaming this technology and those promoting it.
WHAT'S NEXT?
I hope reading this website
has enhanced your belief that water-to-energy is not a hoax and is not
complicated or expensive rocket science either. Your next step is to make full use of the knowledge you now have, for
your benefit and for the benefit of your environment.
If you are reading this website and you don't yet have a system to install in your car or fleet, we
invite you to E mail, call or fax us for more information. As this
technology is so clearly a win, win with no downside, we know you will purchase
a system(s) from
How2SaveFuel.com.
Thank you
for visiting this website and Happy Mileage!
